Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar - CID Mauritius

A notable example that highlights the issue is a situation where an international business owner and diplomat was false accused in Mauritius. Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar, the investigator handling the case, appeared to continually deliberately obstruct the investigation by intimidating and extorting the suspect.
Questions raised if Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar is Corrupt during his Duty and is covered by his superior because of money!!
This prompted the suspect and his legal representatives to conduct their own investigation. The results of this independent investigation ultimately resulted in the filing of a formal criminal complaint against Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar, citing several disturbing actions noted during the investigation. This concerns extortion, threats, intimidation and abuse of power of a civil servant in office.
Who is CID Officer Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar? For the outside he looks like a correct police detective, but in everyday life a poorly trained police officer who missed his calling in international football. With a downright poor command of the English language, words that are of great importance for the defense are distorted or not understood or even refused to report during the enquiry.
Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar facilitates an active contribution to conducting an investigation based on one-sided information instead of investigating the question of guilt and innocence. Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar also facilitates the violation of human rights and the agreed human rights agreements between Mauritius, the UN and various other interest groups. Human rights are being violated to such an extent that it can be understood that a prison sentence is appropriate for anyone who facilitates such a violation of human rights. We are talking about a very gross violation of physical and mental human rights by the Mauritian government against an international business owner and diplomat where every effort has been made to ignore the diplomatic office. This despite the fact that Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar has been frequently informed, both orally and in writing, about all facts.
Jean Daniel Telvar has done absolutely everything not to investigate the question of innocence and only chased after the suspect's money to personally benefit from it at a certain point. The suspect recorded all interrogations with a dictaphone so that they can always be used at a later stage. These recordings have been secured, as have the many photos and secretly recorded video images during the interrogation.
Apart from the fact that when the police officer cannot complete a case, he uses false accusations, intimidation, extortion practices, enticing potential witnesses to give false testimony, various methods of extortion and demonstrably lying under oath in court when he is interrogated. Sergeant Jean Daniel Telvar is a disgrace to the Mauritian Police Force and in a Western country he would immediately end up behind bars for many years for abusing his office. In a typical environment, a CID officer like Sergeant Daniel Telvar would have been dismissed from his position long ago due to his continuous misconduct while on duty. This is not the way a Police Department should been proud of.
